Along with the US pricing, BMW also released the pricing information for the first 2 countries that will receive the all-electric vehicle, UK and Germany.
For the UK, prices will start at GBP25,680, including a GBP5000 grant from the government for all-electric vehicles. Furthermore, i3 users in London will have even more deductions and won't have to pay the congestion tax for the capital city's centre.
As about Germany, deliveries of the new city-car will begin in November with a starting price of €34,950. The much-expected, innovative EV will be unveiled in a worldwide ceremony next week in London, New York and Beijing.
As a quick reminder, the i3 is powered by a lightweight electric motor that develops 170 HP and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque that, thanks to a 22kWh lithium-ion battery, can drive the car for up to 100 miles (160 km).
