BMW Group Achieved Sales Record in First Quarter

BMW Group achieved its best first quarter in worldwide sales. In the first three months of the year, BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce sold over 400,000 units, a new record for the group.

At the New York Auto Show, BMW Group representatives said that they’ve seen the sales grow by over 16 percent in the US and they expect even more now that the new BMW 3 Series Sedan is on the US market.

In addition, the BMW X1 will be presented in September this year. Since its launch in 2009, over 264,000 units have been sold worldwide, helping the X1 to become a leader in its segment. In China the company also achieved higher sales reports, over 75,000 vehicles delivered comparing to 58,506 in the previous year.

We’ll have the exact statistics of the BMW Group sales on 11th April when the group will release the final figures.
