Blitz Motorcycles are not a new presence in Autoevolution's pages, but each of their bikes is oozing such an intriguing styling that each time we learn about one of their new creations, it's chills down the spine time. Today is time for the French Bobber, a marvelous custom BMW which comes from another era.
The customer's only desire was the electric start, so Fred and Hugo had a free hand turning the old BMW R60/2 into whatever they wanted. So they restored and repainted the R60 frame in matte black and fitted a rebuilt R80/7 engine inside it.

In case you are having a hard time figuring out which BMW does the tank come from, here's the truth: it comes from a BSA A7 machine, most likely the least probably marriage between such brands.

Firestone Deluxe Champion and Coker Diamond tires came in place for the rear and front, respectively, alongside shiny Cambell mufflers with wrapped headers, custom air filters for the Bing carbs and a matching black livery for the engine.

Amal white, elegant grips and a vintage Smith speedo adorn now the bars, while the rear of the frame also received a motorcycle fire extinguisher and retaining the stock seat. The bike got a full rewiring and new lighting elements and is ready to roll. Add in a custom leather tank strap and the chocke button  from a Bang & Olufsen stereo for some extra cool attitude.

Aside the striking bobber look, the Earles front suspension is most likely going to turn a lot of heads, as the French Bobber is just as cool as any other bike made by Blitz.
