We're getting closer and closer to the most awaited release of the year. Ever since BMW confirmed it will be replacing the most popular M3 Coupe with the so-called M4, everyone has been expecting it.

It seems like this is the year we'll finally get to see the new M car. The latest spyshots show some pretty interesting new details. First of all, the M4 will return to the classic M badge on the front kidneys. That's a nice touch that came along with the new M6, after it went missing in 1995 along with the last E34 M5 produced.

Further details include the hood power dome (even though the V8 will be replaced), sculpted roof, integrated trunk spoiler, production side skirts, more agressive fenders and production side mirrors.

All things look deliciously good and we can't wait to see the new M4 Coupe in production trim. Judging from these spyshots, the front fenders will also have some sort of gills, maybe similar to the 'reverse Hofmeister kink' the 3er GT has.

The F82 M4 Coupe is expected to be released in September at Frankfurt. The rumors say it will have a S55 3-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 415 HP and a lot of torque. Combined with a lighter construction, this should give the M4 the edge over the E92 M3.
