Alongside the new BMW M3 and M4 renderings of various variations of the two cars are bound to show up. One model that has been asked for a lot recently, especially in the US is a high-performance Touring 3er, more exactly a proper M3 Touring.
The reasons behind such a demand are easy to understand. Americans have also treasures the extra leg room and abundant space of a wagon, this being very well emphasized by the growing success of Crossovers and SUVs on the North American continent.

American car manufacturers have a limited offering of such models being limited to CTS-V Wagon and the older Chrysler 300C with a HEMI engine but both of them are in a bigger segment.

From the other German manufacturers we can point out the C63 AMG Wagon and the RS4 Avant, both of them having more power onboard than you’d even need. But hey, if it’s possible, why not do it? Apparently BMW doesn’t think this way and they kept the M3 Touring away for years now, even though there’s obviously a market for it.

Maybe in the future we’ll get to see such a car being built in Germany but for now, we have to be satisfied with the rendering X-Tomi provided. Until the M3 Touring shows up, customers can get the 335d xDrive Touring model that has a 3-liter biturbo diesel engine under the bonnet that makes 313 HP and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque and does 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 4.9 seconds.
