With the new M3 and M4 being delivered around the States, people are starting to tune their cars as soon as they get their hands on them. We even showed you the first tuned M4 this week so you know things are about to get even crazier.
Now, the guys from iND Distribution are masters at tuning cars. Their projects are absolutely breathtaking and they really know what they are doing. But that kind of work isn’t done easily. It takes a lot of preparations and research, before things are done the right way.
Therefore, as soon as they got their hands on an M3 and M4 they started measuring. And what’s the easiest way to tune a car? Change its wheels, of course. In this regard, you need to know exactly what size they should be and how they will fit, before actually ordering them. No need to worry, we’re here to help with that too.
According to their calculations, done in collaboration with none others but the guys from BBS Wheels, here are the measurements that will fit your car:
- Stock brakes will fit within 18 inch wheels, for CCB you’ll need at least a 19 inch setup
- 9.5” and 10.5” wide wheels will fit perfectly under the wings. A 9.5″ wide front wheel with a +27 offset, and a 10.5″ wide rear wheel with a +35 offset will be very flush fitment on the F80 chassis
- Compared to the stock tires BMW fits their F80 models with, a 275/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear setup is just 2% smaller in rolling diameter but offers better looks and performance.
