Good news for all of you that can't wait to have the new 4 Series Convertible in your garage. The BMW Online visualizer for the new model went online this weekend. That means you can head out to BMW's website and kind-of configure your ideal Cabrio virtually, for now.
We said kind-of because this is not a full on configurator but rather a visualizer that allows you to see the car in 12 different colors, choose out of 5 sets of wheels and view the difference between the various lines of the 4er.
You can also compare specs between the first 3 variations that will be offered for the worldwide markets: the 420d, 428i and 435i. The first one is a diesel with 184 HP and less likely to make it to the US.
The other two are using turbocharged petrol engines with 4 or 6 cylinders that develop 245 HP and 306 HP respectively. Out of the bunch, we'd recommend the 428i model in Europe and the 435i model in the States.
