Along with the official launch of the new 4 Series Coupe, BMW also released the pricing for its 2 first models that will hit the US streets.
Unlike Europe, where the 4er will be available with a diesel engine also, in the 420d version, the US will receive only petrol units at first, the 428i and 435i. The entry level model , for now, the 428i will be fitted with a 2-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 245 HP and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque and will start at $41,125 (€30,820) including destination and handling.
The higher-spec 435i will be fitted with the all-familiar N55 3-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged engine with 306 HP and 400 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque and will start at $46,925 (€35,167) including destination and handling.
The xDrive all-wheel-drive intelligent system will set you back another $2,000 (€1,500) and is available for both models. Both cars will come fitted with the 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and the 8-speed automatic will be an optional feature.
