It seems like BMW gave the go-ahead to all the testers in Germany to drive the new 2 Series they are still testing without any sort of camouflage. Therefore, expect a lot of new photo with cars labeled “Werkstestwagen” to show up from now on.
The latest batch comes from website 2ertalk.de and shows us just how good a random 220i will look like in real life. Sure, the car we’re looking at here is a bit dirty but we can still make out the general lines of the Coupe alongside the taillights, headlights and everything else.
This one appears to be wearing Black Sapphire and the Sport Line kit (judging by the front bumper and those big air intakes on the sides). As for the performances, the 220i has a 184 HP 2-liter turbocharged engine under the bonnet that makes 270 Nm (200 lb-ft) of torque, capable of sending the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds.
