Good news for our Japanese readers. The sales department of BMW Japan just announced that the official release of the BMW F15 X5 will be taking place on November 16 in the far east country.
The car will start at JPY7.92 million (that translates into roughly USD80,000) for the xDrive35d SE model and goes up to JPY11.8 million (USD120,000) for the top ranging xDrive50i M Sport.

There will be 3 models to pick from, starting with the aforementioned xDrive35d, the xDrive35i and xDrive50i model. All of them will be fitted with the 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive and will be available in 3 trim lines.

All new cars will be fitted with standard EfficientDynamics features like air breathers and driving experience control (that also comes with the ECO PRO mode) and will have power figures ranging from 258 HP for the only diesel to 450 HP for the 4.4-liter V8 installed in the xDrive50i model.
