Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to look at the official photos of the world’s first Sports Activity Vehicle, the 2014 BMW X5! After long months and troubling times, debating what will the new version of the X5 bring, BMW decided to end our wondering.

And what a beauty it is. The new 2014 X5 (F15) comes to us with a revised design both on the outside and on the inside.  A lot of things have changed and now, you get to see everything right here, on autoevolution’s BMW-Blog.

The first thing you’ll notice is the revised front end. Now, it’s a bit bigger and even more aggressive exuding power and celerity. The headlights are now extending into the kidney grilles, the silhouette is elegantly stretched and the wheel arches are reshaped.

Furthermore, horizontal lines and taut surfaces characterize the rear whilst features that enhance the car’s aerodynamic properties have been integrated harmoniously into its overall design, including air curtains, breathers and blades for the rear window.

Due to the new interior you can now order almost any combination of colors and materials but the news don’t stop here. The F15 X5 grew in size a bit and it’s most felt inside the SAV. Space has been increased as well as the seating position.

The instrument panel now has horizontal lines extending into the door panels and the back seats are now foldable into a 40:20:40 variability. The tailgate is now automatic and comes as a standard feature and can be opened from the remote.

The BMW ConnectedDrive system was also upgraded and now includes BMW Head-Up Display with full spectrum of colours and new display content; BMW Night Vision with human and animal detection and Dynamic Light Spot, Lane Change Warning, Speed Limit Info and Collision and Pedestrian Warning with braking functions.
