If you can afford a BMW F15 X5 in Hong Kong, you should probably afford to get some CF interior trims for it too, right? Not quite!
The guys from Impressive Wrap Hong Kong just finished working on a brand new X5, giving it a bit of exclusivity with a couple of carefully place vinyl wraps both on the inside and on the outside of the car.
Apparently, the owner couldn’t afford the carbon fibre trims inside the cabin of the Sport Activity Vehicle and decided to go for the cheaper option of wrapping them up in a thin layer of carbon fibre vinyl. The end result looks the part but it doesn’t really do the trick now that you know what it really is, does it?
On the outside, the roof got a gloss black wrap for some reason. I’m guessing it makes the car look sleeker but, at the moment, I’m not really convinced. Overall, the X5 left with a slightly changed look, closer to what the owner wanted from BMW in the first place. Whether it’a a complete fail or a massive win, I’ll let you decide.
