Normally, Hartge is not only talking the talk but is also walking the walk. One of their latest upgrade kits is for the pre-July 2012 6 Series models, the 650i to be more precise.
The first model had the 4.4-liter N63 V8 engine under its bonnet and 'only' 407 HP and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The guys from Hartge upgraded this engine and took it up to 481 HP and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque.

With those new numbers, the 6er is completely transformed. In order to prove just how much faster the Hartge version is, they published a clip (as they always do) to showcase the more powerful Coupe.

The Hartge one accelerates from 80 to 200 km/h (50-124 mph) in 11.12 seconds, 3.47 seconds faster. That's around 44 meters further away than the standard version in a drag race.

However, meanwhile, in July 2012, BMW upgraded the 650i model and now it has 450 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Those new numbers make it a lot quicker than the first version. Either way, Hartge did a great job, as usual.
