How can you measure the importance of one thing? How can you tell if the tuning industry is actually taken seriously or not? American wheels manufacturer D2Forged was invited at the New York International Auto and if that isn't proof that the aftermarket tuning industry is more and more important, what is?
They had a pretty impressive stand in New York, one that would impress any car enthusiast. Cars like the Maserati Quattroporte, Porsche 997TT, Ferrari 430, Aston Martin Vantage were only part of the picture.
However, what caught our eye was a San Marino Blue BMW F10 M5 that looked incredible on the D2Forged Wheels. It's unbelievable how much wheels alone change a car. The ones on this beautiful M5 were 21" CV3-LP Deed Concave Forged 3pc with a Steel Lip contour and Titanium Brushed Center.
These wheels are not just a beautiful piece of engineering. Although they emphasize the sportive character of the Bimmer, they are also created using the Weight Optimization which yields deep concavity without extra weight.
