Based on the 6 Series Coupe, the Gran Coupe is one of BMW's newest additions. We love the way it looks and sounds, but is that enough when you drive this car on a daily basis?
The GC is definitely luxurious and it should be. After all, it has been designed to compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLS and the Audi A7 which could easily be used as a definition for the word "luxury".

The Gran Coupe is only 11 cm longer than the Coupe but that seems to be enough to make 2 extra doors and some more room at the back. It is great to drive and the handling is really worthy of the GT etiquette.

You have a wide array of engines from which you can choose, but if this car will be the one you use on a daily basis, you should go for the 640d. The 3-liter diesel does about 50 mph (that's about 5 l/100 km) which is an impressive number.

The diesel is quite sporty too, doing 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.

Comfort is a whole new level in this car. It even rivals the 7 Series' and that is not the only department in which the Gran Coupe comes really close to it's bigger brother. The quality of the interior finishes is almost the same, if not better, than the 7 Series'.

Of course reliability won't be a problem with the bimmer as it never is with any BMW car.
