BMW and Mercedes have been going at like cats and dogs for a very long time. We, on behalf of autoevolution's BMW-Power blog are more into BMWs, of course, but head on over to our Silver Arrows Blog and you'll notice Mercedes is on top.
Both companies have long histories and amazing cars in their arsenal. Over the years they have been equally matched, with various periods of domination on either side. One duel seems to be more prominent than other though.
The competition between the M3 and C-Class AMG models was always in focus over the years. Ever since the E30 model came out and up until today, things have been very close between them.
One lucky guy that provided a couple of videos for our blog, known on Youtube as BerlinTomek had a BMW E92 M3 for quite a while and recently decided to switch sides and go for a C63 AMG.
This also provided the perfect excuse to create a versus video of the two cars' exhaust systems. Even though the M3 has a smaller engine, we think it's very close to the 6.2-liter V8 engine of the Benz. After watching the video below, please let us know who do you think won.
