BMW E92 M3 Takes on SLS AMG Black Series

BMW M3 vs SLS AMG 1 photo
BMW is not known around the world for its supercars. Even though for some people, M cars might feel like a supercar, they are far out of their league when it comes to such comparisons.
Mercedes-Benz, on the other hand, is no stranger to this scene. After retiring their SLR McLaren model, its place was taken by a car developed exclusively by the Stuttgart-based company, the SLS AMG.

Fitted with a 6.2-liter V8 making 571 HP and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque, weighing just a little over 1,500 kg (3,300 lbs) and using a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, there are few cars that can stand before its 3.8-second sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph).

That would be the ‘standard’ model. What we have here is a Black Series version which means it has 622 HP and 635 Nm (468 lb-ft) of torque while also being slightly lighter on its feet.

Add a little tuning to the mix and things are bound to get really crazy, real soon. The car in the video below apparently has a Weistec supercharger installed, therefore a lot more power too, even though we don’t have the exact figure.

Think that’s a little too much? Think again, as it’s running against a 711 WHP BMW E92 M3 here. That’s right! Even though BMW never purposely made a supercar in the last 20 years, their M3 can be turned into something fierce on a straight line, thanks to supercharging.

What was the outcome? Check out the video and find out!
