A couple of years ago, if you were looking around for a sports car priced at around $60,000 in the US the choices were pretty obvious. You had on one side, the American version, and on the other, the European one.
The American version used to be represented by the Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06. This baby was priced right around $60k, had a 7-liter engine with over 500 HP and a lot of torque, around 658 Nm (485 lb-ft) of it actually.

Then, there was (and still is for another couple of months) the BMW E92 M3 Coupe. Powered by a 4-liter V8 engine and cranking up 414 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) this guy wasn't afraid of anything and was a lot more practical and economical.

Take that stock M3, hook it up to an ESS Supercharger like the VT-625 kit and you'll end up well above the stock Z06, having around 200 extra HP at your disposal and ready to destroy any 'Vette.

This video proves it without a trace of doubt. Even though the driver of the Chevy did mess up the clutch at the first gear change, the M3 destroyed it on the long run, and proved, once again, that tuning really is a viable alternative for more performance.
