The E85 Z4 Roadster looks very good with the brushed aluminum trims inside the cockpit. Most drivers go for this look, as the car has a sportive character and aggressive feel that go better with the aluminum finish than wood.

However, the e-brake handle comes in black and there's no option available to change that from the assembly lines. The only way to change that is either by going to a tuning shop or by changing it yourself.

You'll find aluminum brake handles on the internet pretty easy. The interesting part is how to install them. For that matter, we're bringing forth a comprehensive DIY guide, loaded with pics that will take you through the process.

You'll need a non-marring tool to remove the current e-brake boot, a wire cutter, a mallet, a zip tie and an aluminum e-brake kit, of course. When everything's at hand, click here and you should be done in a couple of minutes. Good luck!
