Today, the F12 M6 is in the center of attention. All the hype surrounds this BMW sports car and what new record has been broken by the all-impressive S63 engine. But what about the last one?
We didn't forget about the E63 M6. After all this was the car that brought the 6 Series back to life after 14 years. In 2003 the 6 series came back, true to the E24's legacy.

The E63 M6 that followed shared the S85 engine with the E60 M5 and was a bit faster and more agile than the BMW saloon. The 5-liter V10 engine fitted on this beast has a power output of 507 HP and 520 Nm of torque. This takes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds according to official numbers, but Road & Track magazine said they reached 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. However, the car has a top speed of 333 km/h but it's electronically limited at 250 km/h.

The car has an interesting feature. When driven in standard mode, the engine produces 400 HP but there is an "M" button on the central console that, when pressed, tunes the engine up to 507 HP actually making this car worthy of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" status.
