The BMW 6 Series was revived in 2003, 14 years after the original E24 model was pulled out of production. That means that if you own one of the first models to come out of Munich's assembly lines, your car is 10 years old right about now.
10 years for a BMW isn't too much. By far, it's almost nothing, considering we're seeing E30s and E12s roaming down our busy streets, even today, 20 or 30 years after they were built.

However, some parts do wear out in time and brake rotors are no exception. Even though BMW makes them out of the finest steel, they still wear out and need replacing once in a while.

That's where this DIY comes in. It's one of the most detailed guides we've ever seen and it will surely take you all the way through the trouble of replacing your rotors. Good luck!
