Heavy traffic takes a toll on all of us, that’s why most times people are angry and drive like lunatics when they find themselves stuck for hours on traffic jams that seem to last forever.
However, as we all know, in Russia things are a little different. Here, the law seems to be something written in some books that nobody ever reads. Watching Russian traffic videos sure make you wonder whether you actually have to pass an exam in order to get a driver’s license in Putin’s country or you just have to be born there.
Today we get a glimpse into the life of a Russian M5 owner. While driving down a busy highway, this gentleman decides to record his experience and “show us how it’s done”. He drives like a maniac and shows off for the camera, while also making good progress, despite all the swear words and bad karma coming at him from the other drivers.
However, at one point a small hatchback makes an appearance, disturbing the gentleman’s "mojo" and challenging his “master of the highway” title. That small grey car you’ll be seeing in the video is a 218 HP turbo MINI Cooper JCW GP edition. Normally, the E60 M5 with its S85 engine and 520 HP would destroy the Cooper in a race. However, this is done in heavy traffic, and the Cooper’s small size helps it squeeze through the tiniest spaces, reminding us, in a weird way, of the “Tom and Jerry” cartoons we used to watch when we were little.
