Replacing the brake pads is something you can do yourself. When owning and driving an M5, going fast is not the only thing you can do better than others. You also have to brake more efficiently.
The BMW E60 M5 brake pads will wear out pretty fast. It's not because there's something wrong with them, but mostly because you'll brake harder and more often than in any other car.
After a while, you'll also have to change the rotors (excepting the case when you've fitted your car with Carbon Ceramic Brakes and in that case, the hell will freeze over before you'll have to change those babies) and that's where we come in.

- Common (flat head) screwdriver
- Ratchet with ¾” socket
- 7mm allen wrench or socket
- 5mm allen wrench or socket
- C-clamp
- 7/16” open/box end wrench
- 3/8” open/box end wrench
- Bungee cord
- WD-40
- Channel lock pliers
- Rubber mallet
- Canned air
