BMW E46 3 Series Angel-Eyes Install DIY

Few design traits had such an impressive impact on a brand's history as the angel-eyes did on BMWs. The Bavarian company first introduced what they call "corona rings" on the 2001 BMW E39 5 Series and since then every BMW model received the new design in one way or another.

Back then everyone wanted to have those yellow rings on their headlights because they looked cool and not much has changed. Most people installed angel-eyes kits on their E36 and E46 models to keep up with the times.

So, in case you own an E46 without corona rings and really want to have BMW's trademark halos, we might be able to help you, if you are one of those guys that likes to do everything by himself.

We found an interesting DIY that is complete and has lots of photos on how to install aftermarket angel-eyes on your 3er. All you need is a Philips screwdriver, flat head screwdriver, pliers, electrical tape, copper wire, a 10 mm socket or wrench, adjustable wrench, T25 Torx Bit, wire loom, zip ties, silicone or liquid electrical tape and the angel-eyes, of course.

After you gathered everything you need and cleared your schedule for up to 90 minutes, just click here and get started. Good luck!
