We agree that to some extent the E30 madness has gone a bit too far. Everyone wants one and since the cars have been out of production for more than 2 decades getting your hands on a pristine model will require a lot of money. That’s what we have a problem with.
Don’t get us wrong, we love the E30 3 Series and the video we’re about to show you is just about this love for an emblematic model but prices have gone just crazy lately.
As we told you earlier this year, the value of E30 M3s has gone through the roof, overcoming even the growth rate of gold on the worldwide markets. Basically, it’s a better investment than the precious metal.
Even so, enthusiasts all over the world that are not willing to invest that much into a car from the get go, prefer to buy a lesser model and put in the elbow grease needed to revive it. That’s the best way to go about it if you ask us as well, as it will not only get you a better deal but will also allow you to rejoice after being done with it, and be satisfied with your work.
The cars in the video below might not be for everybody as the lowered stance might demand some nerves of steel around town but they do show us the elegance cars used to have.
