We all know that along with age comes experience. That is usually true when talking about people. When it comes to cars, most drivers prefer the newest edition just because they automatically presume it is the better one.
That is not necessarily true. Especially when it comes to BMW. They have always been known to develop cars (and by car we also include everything that is in it: engine, transmission, chassis) that can last for ages.

And what is more impressive than seeing a 40-year old car drifting around a track?

This video shows how drift training is made at Kakuchsring, in Hungary. Not only is this done by the book, but they're also using an E12 (the first 5 Series ever made, so it's almost 40 years old) with an E32 engine. The way this 'granny' moves is impressing to say the least.

This video has been recorded on a closed course. Please do no try this on public roads.
