One of the hardest type of racing is definitely endurance racing. These races last anything from 12 to 24 hours and really push both the drivers and the cars to the limit, not to mention the huge teams that stand behind them.
In the US, the one BMW team that is best known for its involvement in the racing scene is RLL, led by none other than Bobby Rahal that is just as involved today as he was 10 years ago.

They are now involved in the new United SportsCar Championship after being part of the American LeMans Series in the previous years and winning more than their fair share of trophies.

This year, with the rules changing and all that, the guys managed to post impressive results so far, finishing 2nd and 4th at the Daytona endurance race, third at Sebring and 2nd and 6th at Long beach, at the moment holding the number one spot in the driver’s standings with 90 points shared between Andy Priaulx and Bill Auberlen.

In order to celebrate such a remarkable season so far, BMW put together a short clip in which it allowed the team and the drivers to talk about the challenges they face during endurance racing. Check out what they had to say!
