Car and Driver Magazine recently made the BMW 3 Series the first ever car to win the 10 Best Award for 22 years in a row. In honor of that distinction, BMW created a commercial using only photos from real BMW drivers.
The photos were picked up from different forums and the drivers declared themselves to be more than happy that their 3 Series photos were used in the making of this commercial.
Even though some of the users were approached by BMW and asked if their photo could be used in a commercial, not all of them made the cut, unfortunately. However, this is not a surprise, as the 3 Series is the most popular BMW ever made and the number of photos with E30, E36, E46, E90 and F30 models is almost infinite.
The final cut includes photos of E36 Compact, Coupe and Convertible models, the E46 models and the E9x and F30 versions, without the E30 3 Series, which is a bit too old to be included in Car and Driver's Magazine top for the last 22 years.
Congratulations to BMW for realizing that the fans are paramount for the company's success and celebrating them on every occasion.
