BMW Brand Vehicles Sales Up 5.4 Percent in October

Out of the total of 165,851 vehicles delivered by the BMW Group in October, 140,057 were BMW Brand ones, recording a 5.4 percent increase over the same month of 2012.

Furthermore, out of the 1,602,018 vehicles sold by the Group over the first 10 months, 1,349,642 were BMW branded, recording an increase of 8.6 percent over the same period of last year.

The most popular model from January to October proved to be the 3 Series that was sold in 408,217 units, a 26.1 percent increase over the numbers of 2012. The second most popular model was the 5 Series, with a total of 301,164 cars sold this year, an increase of 3.2 percent.

A 12.6 percent increase was also posted by the sales of the BMW X1 that added up to 131,343 units whilst the X3 was also successful, reaching a 6 percent increase in sale at the end of October, with a total of 127,730 vehicles.

The 5 Series, 1 Series, 3 Series, 6 Series and 7 Series are still market leaders in each of their segments.
