Apart from the record breaking month the BMW Group just recorded (once again), the BMW brand sales alone posted a 9.2 percent increase.
Over the first 31 days of the year 117,164 BMW vehicles were delivered to customers, 9,862 more than in the same period of last year. Of course, the 5 Series was, once again, the best selling model of the line-up with 27,974 units delivered, posting a 14 percent increase, followed by the 3 Series with a 4.6 percent growth (22,451 units sold) and the BMW X3 with 12,095 units (an 18.2 percent increase).

The new models were also on high demand, the 4 Series selling in over 4,000 units and the 6 Series Gran Coupe demand growing by 37% to a total of 993 units delivered. With the upcoming 4 Series Gran Coupe, the sales are expected to grow even further, especially since the 4er range will be complete, having a Convertible also.
