2013 proves to be another successful, record-breaking year for BMW. After posting the best sales ever recorded in the history of the Bavarian group, the company also announced that the BMW brand vehicles recorded an increase in sales.
Over the last month 139,161 BMW cars were sold, a 7.8 percent increase over last year's 129,141 units. Separated on models, the X1 remains strong, with 14,718 vehicles sold, a 29.3 percent increase over the same month of 2012.
Another amazing increase was registered by the ever-popular 3 Series. Sales for this model added up to a total of 41,811 vehicles, a 27.5 percent increase. With these new sales, the F30 3er reached a total of 400,000 units sold since its release, in 2012.
The F25 X3 sales grew by 13 percent, reaching 14,199 units, whilst the 6 Series won the trust of 2,391 customers worldwide, adding up to an increase of 18.9%. Overall, 651,168 BMW brand vehicles were sold in the first 5 months of 2013, an increase of 7.2%.
