A BMW billboard set near the I-75 in Cincinnati, caused people to panic, do double-takes and even call 911. The reason? Atop the billboard, the local BMW dealership put up a mannequin that looks really-life like and gives the impression it's a man wanting to commit suicide.
The Police received a huge number of calls from drivers passing by the billboard and the dealership was asked to take the mannequin down after all, to calm everyone that drove nearby.

The locals knew about the problematic ad but didn't do nothing about it for a while. The only ones that were panicking seemed to be only the passers by. Fortunately no-one was hurt, including the dummy. Hopefully, the BMW sales in the area doubled after all this ordeal, so that all the stress was worth it.
