This year, BMW presented the second Supplier Innovation Award ceremony, an effort meant to recognize the important contribution suppliers have for such an important car manufacturer and its assembly lines.
Robert Bosch GmbH received the special prize for innovation partnership. Over the years BMW collaborated successfully with the German sub-ensamble company and many projects saw the light of day thanks to the fruitful joint-ventures of the two companies. With this special award, the BMW Group payed tribute to the extraordinary level of cooperation with one of its most important and most innovative partners.

During the ceremony, Herbert Diess, Member of the BMW AG Board spoke about the importance of new technologies and their development.
