Before the Zandvoort race that took place this weekend in the Netherlands, the BMW DTM drivers and BMW athletes went to the Oktoberfest to get a feel of the German traditions.
For Brazilian driver Augusto Farfus and his other non-German colleagues, this was an interesting experience and a chance to get to know Bavaria a little better. And what better way than with a couple of cold beers and some traditional food?
Over the course of their visit, they got to play some old-fashion games, talk with each other and share experiences. The highlight of the day was 'the bumper cars experience' where the drivers got to go at each other with no repercussions, unlike on the track in the DTM.
One thing is for sure: they had fun and it was a nice way to take a break from the stressful lifestyles they endure daily.
