BMW USA has just announced US pricing for the new 6-Series models equipped with a six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
The cheapest of the the two models is the 2012 BMW 640i Coupe that starts at $74,475. This is good value, considering it offers 315 horsepower, which is delivered to the road exclusively via a 8-speed automatic with manual shirt modes.

As for the convertible, that costs a bit more, $81,975, for which you get the same flexible engine and gearbox. If you’re tired of V8 engines and want to step into something a bit more European, this is the perfect car to do it in. Deliveries for both the Coupe and Convertible will start in October.
