At the unveiling of the 4 Series Coupe and its M Performance Parts, in Portugal, BMW didn't release an extensive amount of information, keeping us quite in the dark, until the official press release.
Today we get to see exactly what the M Performance Parts are going to bring to the 4 Series models. If we already knew that the so-called M Performance Power kit was going to be available, now we know what models are going to receive it.
The one everyone expected was the M PPK for the 435i model, that will take the power output of the 4er up to 340 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. With those numbers, the 4er turns into a M435i model.
Other M Performance Power kits are available for diesel engines. Now, the 420d model receives 16 extra HP and 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) reaching 200 HP and 420 Nm of torque (310 lb-ft).
The BMW 430d model that is yet to be released will be upgraded with 27 HP and 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) of torque, reaching 285 HP and an incredible 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque.
