As autumn slowly takes over our lives, BMW announces 3 new diesel engines for the 4 Series range, that will be available starting with November. From the 11th month of the year forth, the 4 Series will have 10 models in its line-up.
Next to the already available 428i, 428i xDrive, 435i, 435i xDrive and 420d models, BMW will introduce 3 new diesels, in the shape of the 420d xDrive Coupe, 430d Coupe and 435d xDrive Coupe.

The 420d xDrive Coupe will have a 2-liter turbocharged engine that develops 184 HP and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. With this engine onboard and the xDrive all-wheel-drive transmission, the new 4er will average a fuel consumption of 4.8-4.9 l/100 km (49 mpg), with 126-129 grams of CO2 per km.

The 430d Coupe will benefit from BMW's 3-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 258 HP and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. The Coupe that will not be available with all-wheel-drive will return a fuel consumption of 4.9-5.0 l/100 km (49 mpg) with 129-132 grams of CO2 per km.

Last, but not least, the 435d xDrive Coupe will benefit from BMW's all-wheel-drive intelligent system and an even more powerful 3-liter diesel, that builds up 313 HP and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque, figures that help the car reach a fuel consumption between 5.4-5.6 l/100km (42-43 mpg).
