BMW just published the sales results for the last month and things are not necessarily bad. Even though the overall profits did record a small contraction, the sales volume managed to break yet another record.
Even in these given conditions, BMW officials say that the ambitious goals set at the beginning of the year is still the one to reach, still possible to achieve.
"We do not expect to receive a great deal of impetus from most European markets over the next few months and economic conditions in these areas are likely to remain challenging. We expect to achieve further sales volume growth in the current year, which will again result in a new all-time high", said Roberth Reithofer, the Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG on Thursday in Munich.
Even though profits went down a couple percent due to heavy investments in research and new technologies, the German manufacturer remains committed to its 'green' endeavors and hopes of reaching a most sustainable chain of production.
