Jalopnik did another wicked top this week, rating the top 10 cars that "scream cocaine", based on what their readers voted. Just as a disclaimer, the cars included in the test are not necessarily driven by coke addicts or drug dealers, it's just that they sort-of got a bad reputation over time.
The 'fortunate' car included in this endeavor were the likes of the DeLorean DMC12 (because its creator was involved in a coke scam trying to fund its development), the Lamborghini Countach, the Ferrari Testarossa, the Cadillac Escalade (what respected drug dealer doesn't own or drive an Escalade?), the more recent Maybach (used by drug dealers and rappers alike) and a couple others.
The rare 8 Series BMW claimed 'only' the third spot in this top, mostly because when it was produced it was favored by many Wall Street brokers that were renowned for their cocaine covered parties and their extravagant way of life.
The Bimmer was only surpassed by the Mercedes-Benz SLR and the Vector, 1980's America supercar extraordinaire. Another great, funny post from the guys over at Jalopnik.
