After the Internet was buzzing with pre-release info and pictures of the BMW 5 Series M Sport Package (a scanned brochure revealing the estate and a set of images showing the sedan have leaked), BMW is now officially introducing the go-fast handling, appearance and interior pack.

Developed by the M division, the pack comprises of suspension and aerodynamics tweaks, as well as interior and exterior design changes.

The vehicle’s sports-tuned suspension, 18 inch double spoke M lightweight alloy rims and enhanced aerodynamics offer a certain performance premium for the models they are installed on. The German automotive producer also offers optional 19 inch M wheels. The saloon version of the car also gets a lip spoiler on the tailgate.

The interior of the 5 Series has received a set of sport seats that use a Alcantara fabric upholstery that has been specially developed for the M Sport pack and features contrasting seams, as well as M logos. The multifunctional M steering wheel and the M gear knob have received a leather finish, while the footrest also features M styling.

The roofliner uses a BMW Individual finish, while the rest of the cabin coming with M aluminum hexagon trimming.

The M sports suspension, M aerodynamics package and 18-inch M light alloys featuring a double spoke design contribute towards enhanced driving dynamics and an exceptionally powerful appearance,” stated the press release.
