One of the top boxes that you will soon be able to tick on the F10/F11 BMW 5 Series’ optional extras list is the M Sport package that will transform the vehicle into a different animal, even for the untrained eye.
And it seems like the feature has become one of the favorite toys of the Internet leakers, ahead-of-schedulers, or however you like to call the websites/forums users that upload images of upcoming vehicles before the automotive producers can say “stop”.
Last weekend, a scanned brochure showing the go-fast looks package for the F11 5 Series surfaced the web, revealing the Touring version of the new 5 series in all its glory. Now, bimmerpost has published a set of crystal-clear pictures that reveal the sedan incarnation of the car (F10) dressed in white.
The M sport package comes with a redesigned bumper, which offers more generous air intakes, fresh side skirts that have a bolder design, a new rear bumper, housing a black ornament and two round exhaust tailpipes, and a tailgate spoiler lip, which comes finished in the color of the car.
The car can ride on 18 inch 350M rims that use (these are standard for the M Sport kit) or on optional 19 inch M350 wheels.
Choosing the option will also bring a set of additional goodies for your 5 Series’ interior, These include a set of sport seats, an M steering wheels, an antracite finish for the roof and a custom aluminum hexagon trim.
The M Sport Package for the 5 Series will be offered in Europe and the U.S., with the latter expected to receive the goodies starting from October.
Update (02.07.2010): BMW has officially presented the 5 Series M Sport Package.
