BMW decided to replace the 3 Series Coupe and Convertible with a completely new range of models, the 4 Series. Nothing new here, as we’ve known about it for quite a while now.
Reviews of the new cars have been pouring in ever since BMW released them and the latest to take a drive inside a 4 Series Convertible are the guys from The Fast Lane Car. You know what follows, right? Hilarity.
This time, it’s Roman behind the wheel and, in what they call a ‘Review Preview’ he decides to make his camera man nauseous by driving in circles around him. Why, you ask? Because he wants to show us what they call ‘the 435i’s best feature’.
That’s, of course, its folding hardtop, one of the few in its segment, that goes down into the boot in 20 seconds and while you’re on the move as well, at speeds up to 11 mph (18 km/h).
We’ve seen the roof in action before but, up until now, nobody thought to use romantic music on the background, the kind that you’d listen to while waiting for your significant other to come home, with the fireplace lid up and two cups of wine at the ready.
