German tuner, G-Power, is known mostly for its outrageously powerful creations. They do tend to aim for the 1,000 HP limit and they usually do so by using forced induction and 5-liter V10 units. However, times are changing and maybe efficiency is the way to go.
Therefore, it seems like the tuner is changing with the times and they are starting to pay more attention to diesels. One of the first models that got their attention was the fastest 4 Series Coupe around. That’s the 435d, surprisingly, that is quicker to 100 km/h (62 mph) than its petrol-powered brother, the 435i.

It’s all down to the fact that the twin-turbo 3-liter diesel engine under its bonnet generates more power than the alternative on petrol (313 HP versus 306 HP) and considerably more torque (630 Nm versus 400 Nm).

That’s for the standard models, of course. The G-Power alternative has 375 HP and 755 Nm (557 lb-ft) of torque. That’s more twist than what you get on the new X5 M in case you were wondering.

With its new stats, we’re guessing this particular 4 Series model could keep up even with an M4 in a straight line while on a track, the standard suspension of the Coupe would make it fall back.

What surprised us the most is that G-Power decided to keep its exterior rather stock. All they did was chance the wheels to a set of 20” Hurricane RR alloys that do match it perfectly.
