While checking out the Essen Motor Show lineup presented by German tuner AC Schnitzer, we felt like all our Christmases came at once. The first present we opened was this, the ACS4, a tuning project based on the brand new BMW 4 Series.
The Bavarian beauty put on its best jewelry, with grand new wheels and grille, new AC Schnitzer twin stainless steel sports rear pipes, 25 lowering suspension and plenty of world-class chin spoilers.
Inside, the tuner has fitted a new gear knob, a digital gear display and an aluminum pedal set, plus some very soft floor mats from velour.
The car presented in Essen has a 3.5xi badge next to its "ACS4" identifier, so we know they took a 435i and breathed new life into it, taking the straight-six from 306 PS to 360 PS. But there are other kits available as well:
• 420i goes from 184 PS to 245 PS
• 428i goes from 245 PS to 295 PS
• 420d goes from 184 PS to 218 PS
• 430d goes from 258 PS to 309 PS
• 435d goes from 313 PS to 360 PS
