German tuner, Hamann Motorsport is known for its extreme body kits for BMW and its high level of engineering. If they are NOT known for anything, it’s modesty. The guys know how to boast their stuff and the cars they create are the perfect image of this strategy.
With the new BMW 4 Series though, they seemed to have toned down, creating a small but beautiful set of parts for the Coupe. To showcase it, the guys even put together a short commercial showcasing a fully decked car.
Since it was shot mostly in low light and the car seems to be wearing Sapphire Black, it’s hard to make out all the nice details of the added bits from Hamann but we’ll list them all down here, while listening to that ominous soundtrack in the video.
Up front there’s a new spoiler attached under the bumper, made of carbon fiber and available only for M Sport cars. Then there’s the rear spoiler and center diffuser round the back, the latter including a 4-tailpipe conversion kit as the 435i (top of the range model) comes with only 2 pipes at the back.
The package is completed by a set of Anniversary EVO wheels finished in their trademark silver color that really give the 4er a fresh feel overall.
You should also know that they offer upgrades that are deeper than the skin, including engine kits for the entire range, from the 420i to the 435i that can be taken up to 348 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, closer to the numbers put down by the M4.
