BMW 4 Series Convertible Wallpapers

Unlike many of its offerings, BMW’s 4 Series Convertible is now a sports car. The premium model is now more focused on its Grand Tourer character and that’s where it excels. With a cool, composed look, our wallpapers tell a story of roofless cruising in both 1280 x 720 px and 1920 x 1080 px form.

Cruising around the city with the roof down is a more than pleasurable experience. Get the car in Comfort mode and set the Active Cruise Control to around 50 km/h (30 mph) and you’ll be set for a careless drive. Go above that speed and you’ll need the wind deflector that will come in handy up to 80 km/h (50 mph).

Having a different character than before, we wouldn’t recommend getting the drop-top 4er in any other guise than Luxury Line. It makes all of its body’s curves stand out the most, while transforming it into a stylish and elegant appearance down the road.

Inside, you get plenty of room and the comfortable seats will keep you nice a cozy, even in colder weather due to the new neck-warmers. In the back, there’s plenty of room even with the roof up but the backrests could’ve been a bit softer as we’re not trying to bash anyone’s back here but just enjoy the nice weather.

The engine is refined and, the 2-liter turbocharged unit on the 428i is all you need. 245 HP and 350 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque are plenty even for a car that weighs nearly 1,800 kg (3,968 lbs). Rev it hard and you’ll hear more than impressive sound coming from the engine bay, even when stationary.

Bottom line, the 4 Series Convertible might very well be the perfect car in this segment, mainly because of its hard-top offering. That makes it usable all year-round, even in places where winters are harsh and filled with snow. However, that doesn’t mean it’s a perfect car. It has its flaws that you’ll have to read about in our review that’s accompanied by a comprehensive Full HD photo gallery.
