As we're now familiar with the new BMW 4 Series Convertible's looks and specs, it's time to take a look at the financial aspects. In the US, the brand new Cabrio will start at USD49,675, including the USD925 Destination and Handling tax.
That price will get you an entry-level, stock BMW 428i Convertible. It's fitted with a 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 245 HP and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque and comes as standard with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Get a couple more bucks and, for USD55,825 (including the Destination and Handling tax) you can drive home a BMW 435i Convertible, fitted with the N55 engine that develops 306 HP and 400 (300 lb-ft) Nm of torque out of a 3-liter block. This one is also fitted with the 8-speed auto as standard.
The 4 Series Convertible will make its world debut at the 2013 LA Auto Show, in November and arrive in dealerships somewhere in the first quarter of 2014.
