BMW 3 Series Touring Starts from AU$58,900 in Australia

Recent days brought a lot of news for the BMW aficionados from Australia. After reporting about the new entry-level 3 Series and the MINI Paceman JCW, it's time to talk about the 2013 3 Series Touring.
The longer 3er was launched this week in Australia with a starting price of AU$58,900 ($61,000, €48,000) for the 318d Touring model, fitted with a 2-liter turbo diesel engine the boasts 143 HP and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. In this configuration the Touring has a combined fuel consumption of 50 mpg (4.7 l/100km) and the CO2 emission levels reach 123 g/km.

Standard features for the entry-level 318d Wagon include automatic lights and rain sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth phone with music streaming and 16-inch alloy wheels. The 4 optional equipment lines from BMW are available for this model too.

You can choose between Sport, Luxury, Modern or M Sport packages for prices varying from AU$2,000 ($2,100, €1,600) for the Sport Line up to AU$8,900 ($9,334  €7,255) for the M Sports package.
