BMW 3 Series Takes Out Porsche Cayman in Violent Nurburgring Racing Crash

The clash caused both cars to run wide, but, fortunately, the bend that housed the hostilities comes with a massive gravel trap.

Despite the driver of the mid-engined machine making sustained countersteering efforts to avoid a spin, the Cayman still ended up in a nasty situation.

To be more precise, the Porscha was pushed off the track and ended up hitting the metallic element on the side of the track. However, the car had almost come to a halt at the time when it kissed the barrier, so the impact wasn't serious.

As for the Bavarian sedan, this didn't just avoid the barrier, but also managed to return to the circuit and probably resumed its activity.
