At the moment, as previously reported, you can only choose out of two models for the US market, the 328i and 335i, both of them with the xDrive system. The 328i starts at $41,450 and will come fitted with a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 245 HP and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
Hooked up to the standard 8-speed automatic gearbox, the 328i xDrive will accelerate to 62 mph in just over 6 seconds and has a reported fuel consumption of 36.8 mpg (6.4 l/100km), on a combined cycle.
The 3 Series GT 335i xDrive comes equipped with the 3-liter N55 turbocharged engine and its 306 HP and 450 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque. It’s hooked up to the same standard 8-speed gearbox and will do 62 mph in 5.4 seconds, while returning a combined fuel consumption of 30.5 mpg (7.7 l/100km).
The 335i xDrive starts at $46,850. The luxury line will cost you an additional $1,400, the Sport Line will set you back $1,700 whilst the most expensive line, the M Sport costs $3,100.
